Mostly Street

A new home for my portfolio of street photography from around the world. Mostly featuring the high Andes, there is however a sprinkling of India, Morocco, Pakistan, China, and a few other places. Visit mostlystreet.com.

Some friends in the industry – you know, real photographers and so on that do this stuff for a living, have been telling me I should put up a portfolio of my street photography. So I did. They’ve also been telling me I should do another book, but that might take me a little longer to get around to, and I have no idea whether the audience is even there. In the meantime however the online portfolio is here: mostlystreet.com.

It’s taken me a while to get around to doing something about it but with some fresh work available from South America now seemed like as good a time as any. It is admittedly quite heavy with new work, but styles evolve, and interests change. Visit mostlystreet.com

I’ve kept things deliberately lean and simple; complexity in web design can create a barrier, particularly when it comes to mobile devices.  For those that care about such things it’s built upon an instance of my own super-lean CMS (content management system) that I wrote a few years ago, and have been developing, and delivering, ever since. The emphasis being on speed, user-friendliness, flexibility, and a distinct absence of the bloat common to certain popular platforms……
