I am truly my own worst enemy, didn’t get into my tent till 1am… again… so allow me to introduce Juan & Elisa.. it’s all their fault. we lit a big fire for a BBQ and sent Eli off to get some meat while we, being typical males, played around with the fire and drank beer…. I had in mind a few slabs of beefsteak that would cook fairly quickly, it being around 9pm… but she came back with a large and pretty solid chunk of cow that went on the embers and took till 11.30 to cook.. clever we are.
I also meant to mention how cold the lakes are here… against my better judgement jumped in one this morning… it looked oh so inviting, I already knew it was making my feet hurt just standing on the rock.. took my breath away, literally. Glacial melt water… mmmm :-)
Managed to wash my riding gear too, swear I could grow cabbages in the sludge left at the bottom of the bucket… dusty roads around here, I’m caked with it.. along with everything else, hehe.
a hard day night apparently.. :-)
LOL. Impressive… I am not sure I could have handled jumping into that water…
Good on you. We like it when you blog clean! ;-)
yes but dirty is more interesting don’t you think… :-)
Nice one Mike. Glad to see you are eating something other than empanadas (South American pasties…..??? Are they as good as Ginsters? – lol)
hello, great to hear from you…. yeah, in this bit of argentina the empanada has lost out in the street food stakes to the mighty hamburguesa….. but they’re good burgers :-)
