As I sort through my photographs from South America some quite nice collections are emerging.. today it is the South American pickup truck, something of a favourite topic of mine and the vehicle that enables the South American economy and that, in a sense perhaps, defines each country… :-) Argentina was the best place, the mostly desert climate preserves legions of artfully battered old americana… Chile has mostly crisp, modern Japanese stuff, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador were mostly populated with knackered Japanese stuff albeit with one or two exceptions.. and there a few gems in Colombia too.
